We have officially started the second nine weeks of school. Sixth graders are right in the middle of their second unit, which involves ratios, rates, and proportions. They should have their next test within the next couple of weeks. Seventh graders are almost finished with their second unit, which is over expressions, equations, and inequalities, and will have their test at the end of next week. Speaking of next week, conferences will be going on October 16th -20th. Students will be dismissed early and then return with their parents for their scheduled conference time. These are student led conferences, so students should go with their parents to their conference. Please make sure you have set up a conference with your homeroom teacher. Emails were sent out last week through Sign Up Genius. If you have not received an email from this program, please let your child's homeroom teacher know immediately! Finally, if your student feels like he or she is falling behind in math, please make sure they attend tutoring on Wednesday mornings at 8:15. Please let Mrs. Sweat know by the end of school on Tuesday if you will be attending tutoring the next day. As always, if you every have any questions, please feel free to email me at [email protected]
