Next week is Conference Week! Make sure you bring your student to the conference because it is student led!
I wanted to update everyone on what's going on in math. Both sixth and seventh graders have completed their first unit tests and are into their second unit. Sixth graders are focusing on rates, ratios, and percents while seventh graders are working on algebraic expressions. Seventh grade has just wrapped up with ITBS testing, so their schedules should be back to normal. Please make sure homework is being completed and turned in the day it is due. Students, if you would like more practice, their are workbook pages you can complete. At the end of every lesson in the book, their are pages marked "EXTRA PRACTICE." These pages can be done on your time. However, do not tear them out and only work on these pages. The Independent practice pages are completed in class. Also, there are tons of resources online that can be used to help you study! Make sure you are doing something every night to help reinforce what is done at school!
